On the 1st of May 2018 Josephine Armstrong (Chair of the Ulster Bank Staff Charity Fund) and her colleague Clare Healy travelled to the NRH to present NRH Foundation Fundraising Co-Ordinator, Ann O’Leary, with a cheque for €5,000 to the NRH Foundation.
Ulster Bank offers their employees an opportunity to donate from their salary each month to the Staff Charity Fund. This is a registered charity, managed by a committee of employee volunteers. All payroll donations from employees are distributed by the Committee on a quarterly basis to charities and good causes that apply directly to the Fund or who are referred by contributing members. The fund focuses on domestic charities that have a nationwide reach.
Commenting on the donation, Josephine Armstrong said:
“The Ulster Bank Staff Charity Fund is happy to support the NRH Foundation in their fund-raising activities delivering improved patient care and outcomes.”
We would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff of Ulster Bank who so generously contribute to this wonderful staff charity fund, your donations will make a great difference to the lives of the Patients in the National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH).
