Rosegreen Community Tractor Run raises a phenomenal €42k for the NRH
From a fundraising event organised by the Bergin family, came a phenomenal community gathering and fun day out! On Sunday 8th January 2023 the WHOLE Community of Rosegreen and their neighbouring communities all came out in force to fundraise for the National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH). This Tractor Run, organised by the Bergin family, in association with Coolmoyne and Moyglass Vintage Tractor Club, brought traffic to a complete standstill as over 400 vehicles took part in this amazing event. Tractors, trucks, cars, and motorbikes all took off from the Tipperary Raceway on a very cold but dry January morning, with the event then finishing up at the Rosegreen Community Centre. There, all participants were treated to a fantastic spread of hot food, sandwiches and loads of home made treats and goodies. The event continued into the evening with a raffle and auction before everyone took to the dance floor to enjoy the musical entertainment provided. This event really showed what a community can achieve when they come together as one – over €42,000 was raised from this spectacular event – a really phenomenal amount of money.

The NRH feels very blessed and privileged to have been the chosen beneficiary charity of this amazing event and would like to say a massive THANK YOU to all the Bergin, Ryan & Moloney Families, the event’s organising committee and all who got involved and supported this fundraising tractor run. These funds will make a huge difference in supporting the funding of equipment, projects and research required in the NRH, now and into the future. Thank you all for this wonderful support.
