Massive Congratulations to Orla Power for completing a half marathon row from Monkstown to Cork City on Saturday 3rd of June 2023 and for achieving first prize within her category, by being the first woman in a sit-on-top kayak to cross the finish line. This is an amazing achievement.

Orla decided to raise funds for the NRH in support of her brother:
“The National Rehabilitation Hospital is an invaluable service available to the whole of Ireland. This charity is close to my heart as my brother lost his leg recently through illness and thanks to the NRH is learning to walk again. Without public funding, the NRH would not function”.

We would also like to say thank you to @thatch_coffee in Dungarvan for holding a coffee morning in support of Orla’s fundraising efforts and to MSLA for their corporate donation on behalf of Orla and her brother.

Well done and thank you so much Orla for raising an amazing €3,649.23 for the NRH Foundation to help support the National Rehabilitation University Hospital (NRH) for adults and children and its invaluable service.
