In the Blink of an Eye – The Rehabilitation Journey

The NRH Foundation was lucky enough to partner with the Health & Safety Authority (HSA) and the Construction Industry Federation (CIF) in the creation of a social media campaign focused on survivors of workplace accidents.  This project is aimed at raising awareness of the importance of safety on construction sites and within the construction industry.

In the lead up to the launch of this social media campaign, the blog “The difference taking time out can make!” by Fundraising Manager of the NRH Foundation, Edel Lambe was published, Click here to read it.

Our collective mission is to:

  • Reduce accidents on construction sites in Ireland
  • Increase awareness of the importance of being committed to safety & health…every day
  • Inspiring all of us to share best practices and to work together to strengthen our industry’s safety culture
  • Celebrating the safety achievements to date

“In the Blink of an Eye” tells 3 of our patient’s journeys who had workplace accidents in the construction industry and were treated in the NRH.  These videos are aimed at raising safety awareness of self-employed and small business employers involved in the construction industry.
