dunnhumby in Dún Laoghaire have chosen the NRH Foundation as the beneficiary charity for their Fundraising Challenges.
Staff of dunnhumby met outside the Pavilion by Meadow’s & Byrne, in Dún Laoghaire, on Friday 23rd of September 2016 to take part in a 9-hour static bike challenge to raise funds for the NRH Foundation. Two static bikes were set up and staff of dunnhumby took it in turn to keep the bikes going and to bucket collect for this event. They also used our text facility allowing people to donate by text. There was a great atmosphere in Dún Laoghaire, the sun shone bright, and the enthusiastic staff created lots of interest to passersby. Also thank you to Mikes Bikes for lending them 2 static bike stands and 2 bikes to complete this challenge.
As part of their fundraising initiative dunnhumby are also holding quarterly internal bake sales to raise funds too.
We would like to say a huge thank you to dunnhumby for choosing the NRH Foundation and for all their fantastic work putting together and taking part in these fundraising events. A big congratulations on raising over €1400, all monies raised will go to the direct benefit of patients, both adult and children in the NRH.
