We were very lucky this week to have a visit to the NRH Paediatric Programme from Elin and Rebecca of Merlin’s Magic Wand, as they personally delivered their donation of a brand new Entertainment Mobile Unit to the Service. Merlin’s Magic Wand is the international children’s charity partner of Merlin Entertainments, dedicated to providing magical experiences for children and families who need them most.

Thanks to Mitie and their fantastic staff fundraising event in November 2023, the NRH Foundation has now been able to fund new very specialist resuscitation equipment for the National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH), which includes a Symbio Rhythm Generator, QCPR Free Standing device, AED Trainers and Child Airway Head.

We were delighted to have been Mitie’s chosen Charity Partner for 2023. As a result of the phenomenal amount of €12,100 raised by Mitie for the National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH), for adults and children, these funds will be used to purchase specialised equipment that is required for Resuscitation Training Education for both child and adult patients in the NRH.
