On Friday the 24th of November 2017, Kevin Healion, hosted the much anticipated, annual Pub Table Quiz in Brady’s Pub, Dunboyne, to raise vital funds for the NRH Foundation, helping us to continue to support the National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH). Each year the Healion family put a huge amount of work in to create this fun night full of entertainment. Thanks to all their hard work and the support of the local community, they raised a magnificent €3,000!
The Healion Family choose each year for the funds raised to go to St Joseph Ward in the NRH. The €3,000 raised from the 2017 event will be used for the purchase of a Urinalysis Machine, a new piece of equipment for the Programme, which will greatly assist in the early detection of urinary tract infections and a Reflexon Chair, a specialised chair for spinal patients that helps in the prevention of pressure sores.
We would like to thank the Healion Family, for their continued support, for not only raising these vital funds, but for the awareness they raise for the Hospital and the NRH Foundation. The funds they raise each year make a direct difference to the lives of patients in St Joseph’s Ward in the NRH.
